Account Manager - Northern Illinois
Primary Objectives of this Position:
To create and build client relationships while sponsoring interaction to obtain projects/bookings for Aspect Automation. Assist in developing and facilitating the proposal process for specific clients including budget and pricing development, proposals, and client presentations.
Major Areas of Accountability:
- Research and development of potential clients in territory.
- Client Relationships (building relationships with key decision makers).
- Determination of market strategies and goals.
- Sales Communications, Proposals and Quotes
- Business Support/Development.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least eight years of proven success working in sales in a similar industry.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal communication skills.
- Well developed presentation skills
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Ability to influence and persuade to achieve desired outcomes.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
- Proficient PC skills in a Windows environment.
- Must be able to travel frequently (25-30%) by car and air, with occasional travel overseas.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Previous experience working within the special machine industry.
